FAQ
CLOTHING
Please bring a range of different options for clothing. Bring clothes you love to wear!! If you don't feel comfortable in it, you won't shoot well while wearing it.
A selection of colours, ones that match your eyes is great. Avoid jazzy patterns that will distract from your face
If you have any doubt about whether something will work or not just bring it.
Everything from t-shirts, tank tops to sweaters and light jackets can work. Textures and layers work well and try to keep the jewellery minimalist. Studs or small earrings work and simple necklaces, anything hanging or chunky will usually draw too much attention away from you.
MAKEUP AND SKINCARE
WOMEN - With makeup, less is more in camera, I prefer to start very naturally to give you a very clean simple look and you can add more as you go if you like. It is better to remove blemishes afterwards than hide them with foundation and concealer.
MEN - please take some time to exfoliate with a washcloth and moisturise beforehand, dry skin is much easier to remedy pre-shoot.
If you want to shoot with facial hair and shave once we have captured it that is fine, please bring all of the grooming products you will need for that with you.
NO HANGOVERS PLEASE - Please try and get a good night of sleep before hand and drink a good amount of water ahead of the shoot, it will leave you looking fresher, energised and more awake.
